Overview

The academic staff of any Faculty is what an engine is to a car – it determines the quality of that Faculty and whether it prospers and grows. The Faculty of Law has a lean, highly motivated staff complement with a strong combination of solid experience and good qualifications.

A significant number of professors have NRF ratings, including B and P ratings, enabling   the Faculty to maintain solid publication outputs and a good postgraduate supervision record.

Similarly, a substantial percentage of our academics hold an LLD as their highest qualification. In addition, most staff members are permanent, ensuring continuity and promoting quality teaching. A skilled group of administrative staff complement the Faculty’s teaching and learning expertise.
