Prof Anél du Plessis was selected by the Governing Board of the International IUCN Academy of Environmental Law to serve a three year-term on its Teaching and Capacity Building Committee. The committee comprises of 8 environmental law scholars from different universities. The Committee is responsible for teaching and university-level capacity building in environmental law worldwide, with special attention to developing countries and countries in transition.
