BCom Law
Recommended to students that have a dual interest in law and business. This degree complements the LLB, as it provides a broader perspective on, in particular, commerce. The subject groups within a BCom in Law are exactly the same as in the case of the BA in Law, the only difference being that modules relating to commerce are also included.

(Students register for all three modules in in year I, two of these modules are taken in year II and one in year III.)
Students who did not have Accounting at school, may attend the short learning programme in Basic Accounting during the reception period.

Admission requirements
- APS of 30;
- Mathematics passed on performance level 4 (50-59%) and
- Language of instruction on Home Language level passed on performance level 5 (60-69%) AND language of instruction on First Additional Language level passed on performance level 5 (60-69%).
- Selection for BComm (LAW) is made based on academic achievement based on Gr 11 or Gr 12 marks.
- The faculty may impose any other requirements as it deems fit.
