Dr. Rongedzai Fambasayi is an alumnus of the North-West University and the South African Research Chair in Cities, Law, and Environmental Sustainability (SARChI CLES, NWU). He obtained his PhD in Law and Development from the NWU in 2023. He has established himself as an International Child Rights Lawyer and Researcher with over a decade of progressive work experience in strategic litigation, research and academia at the international, regional, and national levels. He served as an Independent External Expert in the Working Group on Children's Rights and Climate Change of the African Union's Children's Committee (2022-2023) and led the mainstreaming of child rights in climate action across Africa. As a CLES student, he established himself as a prolific writer. He authored and co-authored 11 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. He has 4 contributions (1 as sole author) that have been accepted for publication.
