After completing her LLB (cum laude) and LLM at the NWU, Jeanette joined Adams & Adams in their trade mark litigation department in 2011, where she practiced full time until 2019. Jeanette was admitted as an attorney in 2013, and qualified as a trade mark law specialist with the South African Institute of Intellectual Property Law (SAIIPL) in 2014. In 2020, Jeanette was appointed as a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Law of the NWU. Her research interests include Food law, Intellectual Property Law, Advertising Law, and International Trade Law.
